The Butterfly HouseThe Butterfly House
It was the Fifth Day of Butterflies. They'd been coming, from far and wide, all over the world; gathering in this one place. The scientists were bemused as to why, and how so many had come in such a short time. People came as well. Hundreds and hundreds of people had flocked to the site, drawn by this phenomenon. They took pictures, threw rocks, shouted, called, and still, the butterflies never moved. They covered nearly an entire street. Lawns, sidewalks, even cars were carpeted in the tiny creatures. Their house was right in the center. My neighbors' house, I mean.

Watchmen and going home.

Ha. I'm updating. *is proud* Anyway. I'm going home on Saturday! *starts dancing* And I'm going to bug my dad to take me to Hollywood to see if I can't rent Watchmen. Spending half my summer in Peoria, Illinois has not been particularly fun, but Dad and I have been watching lots of old movies together, including the old Star Treks. I've found myself repeatedly watching the original T.V. show, and I think I'm fast on my way to becoming a Trekkie. I'm not really sure if that's a good thing, but, you know. At least I can't speak Klingon...yet.
Anyway, while I've been bored here, I've also been writing a lot, not that anyone cares. Thing is, I'm not gonna post any of it online, 'cause I'm a freak about my actual stories like that...*is paranoid*. But I'm pretty happy because I now feel semi-productive. One of my long pieces is over 13,000 words long. Once again, not sure if that doesn't just make me more of a dork, but at least I'm doing something. Not really sure why I felt the need to post this, but...yeah. Oh, and as a side note, I've been trying my hand at singing and playing at the same time and, er, hehe. Yeah. It's harder than I would've believed.
